Casino royale movie locations11/17/2023 ![]() ![]() The spa/pool we didn't use but there were plenty of people wandering around in bath robes who did. There was nothing to show that the chapel-like building at the top was the right place, no signs saying "Magnum" or anything but it was great fun and the people there friendly and safety conscious ( I'd like to give them a five star review on Trip Advisor, sadly they aren't listed). We walked to it, it's quite difficult to find, up some treacherous steep wooden steps (it had snowed, so they were covered in ice). Our package included a voucher for an indoor shooting range. The bed had a very hard foam mattress, however I slept very well in it so it was more comfortable than it seemed initially. A great room with a chandelier, posh looking bed, settee and chairs, safe, minibar, TV (which we didn't use) and bathroom with bath and shower. We were told that we had been upgraded to a super-deluxe. This included: the room, dinner on one night, a shooting range experience, a free Vesper cocktail each and 500 Czech crowns to spend in the casino. ![]() So, for my birthday, we did the "Bond " package for two nights. Yes, this hotel acted as the "Hotel Splendide, Montenegro" in the 2006 film "Casino Royale". ![]() If you understand the title, then you're probably a Bond fan. ![]()
